Described by its organisers as a "pivotal conference and exhibition that will power your working future" and as a "revolutionary HR and learning event", the CIPD Festival of Work will take place at Olympia London on 12-13 June 2019.
The CIPD, the London-headquartered "professional body for experts in people at work", expects to welcome more than 7,000 attendees, as well as 1,200 delegates, 300 exhibitors and more than 160 speakers, with 40 free learning sessions taking place on both days on four dedicated stages. A packed conference programme is planned for both days.
Free exhibition tickets are available (which grants access to Olympia’s Festival Hall), while conference passes are priced at £1,195+VAT for two days (£895 for one day) for non-CIPD members and £999+VAT for two days (£599 for one day) for CIPD members.
According to the CIPD: "The Festival of Work brings together two unmissable CIPD events, the Learning and Development and HR Software and Recruitment shows – and adds in a brand new dimension – The Future of Work.
"Whether you’re an HR or L&D professional or business leader, the Festival tackles your challenges head-on and equips you for the work revolution. It’s overflowing with inspiration, innovation and practical solutions to your challenges right now."
A new film "showcasing what HR professionals can expect from the future of work” will also be premiered at the CIPD’s inaugural Festival of Work event. HR and payroll software specialist Cascade has produced the short film, after speaking to HR and business leaders throughout the UK.
The CIPD said the film will cover "everything from wellbeing and the increasingly diverse workforce, through to automation and AI". The aim is to help HR professionals to "leverage the potential that future change can bring to the workplace".
